To tell you the truth this page hasnt helped me at all with losing weight the only thing it helped me with was keep a chart of my weight gain and loss if its helping all of you congradulations but its just keeping me in front of the computer instead of exercizing but ther is this page called www.ivillage.com and if you click on weight loss and on that page look at the left side and you can look at diets and exercize plans i lyke walking workout its a six week plan and its a slow but sure way to lose weight if you still eat right thanx 4 listening

Hi Does anyone know if grild cheese is good for you? And could anyone tell me some good health foods that I can eaat that are 4 to none grams of fat and about 70 to none calories? Please reply because no one ever replys for my questions!

Start: 180 lb - Hi, I am 14 and the last time I weighed myself I was 180lbs. (this was 3 months ago and my friend, her dad, and I were at the gym.) I almost cried when I learned i was heavier than her dad. Anyway, ever since then, I've been struggling to lose the weight. I never realized I was so heavy, because I can shop and fit into "normal" clothes at places like Wet Seal and Forever 21. I think I have lost some weight since then, but the thing I'm struggling with most is the food I eat. I cannot control what I eat, like just today, I woke up and ate 4 pieces of toast. Not more then an hour and a half later, my sister (who is skinny) had McDonald's and I made myself some french fries (bcause she had some and i WANTED some.)Then I ate a bowl of cereal. It's weird cause I know what I'm doing, but I say to myself "who cares I'm still gonna be fat anyway" but I don't WANT to be this way. So does anyone... (view more)

Today: 145 lb - HI I am 16 and I am about 145 pounds all my friends are like in their 100's and you can see my fat haging over my pants.I have tryied a lot of different ways to lose weight but it wont work because as soon as i loose weight I gain it agin.Does anyone have any segestions on how I can loose weight?please answer

Cardiovascular work: is important to speed up your metabolism so you burn more calories to help shed body fat, and it should be performed at least 3 days a week. What I recommend is to alternate your weight training days with cardio days. So, following your weight training session, do 30 minutes of any cardio activity. Then, on your alternate days, do 30 minutes of any (great way to mix it up and keep it fun!) cardio activity and activity and also on this day perform some abdominal and calf exercises.
-Also Eat Well Balanced foods, stuff like pizza and everything isn't that good for you if your trying to loose weight. Don't eat so little to loose cause you will gain it back and + more. Drink Plenty of water I usually drink 1-5 L but I touch it up with StrawberryKiwi Crystal Lite.

Ht. 5'6", Start: 136 lb, Today: 200 lb (BMI %tile: 98) - I've always been an average sized child, and my weight's never really bothered me until recently. I had to go to the docters for a general check up every 6 months, where he measured my height and my weight. I've stayed the same 5'6" for six months but have shot from 136lbs to almost 198lbs. That was 2 weeks ago and since then, i've put on 2lbs making me 200bls and i've really started to noticed my stomach being bigger than it was before and last night my friend told me she thought i'd been putting on weight a lot recently. I find it difficult to fit into jeans and stuff now aswell so i've decided to do something about my weight problem but i don't know where to start.
