I am in a mess. I am 13 , 5"1 and 7st 12. I Know i'm overweight but i'm also asthmatic and can't do excessive exersize. What can i do to lose weght? My parents are putting preasure on me to lose weight and i could do with a diet buddy, a good QUICK and effective diet and i need it soooon!!!!!!! Pllllllzzzzzzzzzz help me.Emily

hi i have read some of your messages and noticed that some of you have used slim fast before and i was just thinking you have to drink it 3 times a day diddent you find that a bit embarresing when you were at school and do you have to be over 16 to use it i heard that you do and that you have to have a docters permision if you under that age plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz write back

hi guys. like most of yall, i'm 15 and looking to loose weight. how much, i'm not sure. it just depends on how much it takes for me to look the way i wanna look. i'm guessing a good 15-20 lbs. i'm not "fat" according to friends and family but this is not about them. it's aboutme. also, the fact that i am a ballet dancer puts all the more strain on my being thin. i do have muscle in my legsand arms but i would like to slim down. at the current moment i am keeping my carb. intake under 100. at the endof the week, if i haven't lost 2lbs.(which is a healthy weekly loss) i am going to go on the Atkin's Diet. i know this diet will work but it's mega-hard so if anyone has any other suggestions, that would be much appreciated. thanks. p.s. sorry so long-winded

im 220 lbs and i need help losing weight. Ive but on some weight this years and i would like 2 get it off. I went over my friends house last weekend and i burst through my pajamas.The buttons popped off the shirt first then my pants ripped when i bent over. I was humiliated. They saw my fat stomach, my rolls, and the rest of my fat on my body. every 1 thought it was funny bcause i couldn't fit some of my jeans i brought 2 wear either, 2 let u no they was a size 34. They grabbed my rolls and started to jiggle them. They said my stomach shuck like jello. 2 weeks ago those jeans were baggy now there just a pair of pants i cant wear. I feel really fat that im bigger than all of my friends. I need serious help. Plz reply

Heya guys! I am kinda depressed at the moment coz I'm so HUNGRY!!! I am on a diet and eat sensibly but can't snack or have large portion sizes. It seems to be working, but its so boring! I have recently discovered my love for grapes, so I eat a lot of them (they aren't to fattening are they?)and also love raspberries and sunflower seeds. But all I wan't now is a huge, sizzling slice of pizza and its really annoying me! At the moment I weigh 120 lbs and I am 5'3. My friends don't say that they think I'm fat, but I think I am. My thighs are like tree trunks but less firm, my ass is the size of Texas and I'm not even going into details of my stomach. Have any of you guys got a diet plan that won't make me so bored? All I am eating is peas, brown rice, chicken and eggs and it sucks. I also try to exersise but I hate it completely. There are no exersizes that I enjoy, like, at all. I hate having to lose weight. Are you guys as tired and hungry as me? Please give me some tips or anything! Love CaseyXXXXXXXX

Did you guys ever notice how some people, if they are the exact same height and weight, look different. It's because of their bone size. If you have a larger skeleton, you can carry the same amount of weight as another person, yet look skinnier, cause you have more bones which make you weigh more, and you actually have less fat as a person the same size as you. I don't know if that made any sense to you guys, but that's the best way I can explain it. The way to tell if you have a large, medium, or small frame is this: wrap your fingers over your wrist, if your fingers don't touch, you have a large frame, if they touch, or over lap a little bit, you have a medium frame, and if they over lap, you have a small frame. You can tell your frame size at any weight because your wrists don't have fat on them. So, basically if you have a large frame, you will weigh more, and most weight charts... (view more)

Okay everyone. I've been reading though all these messages here, and i've realised that most people are here about the same thing. People want to loose weight, and are looking for a quick, easy way to do it. Lets face it though, its not gonna happen. The sooner you realise that, the better off i beleive you are. And all the people giving off advice, it all boils down to the same thing. Exercise more, and eat less. But i also know that it is a lot more complicated than that. First someone starts to go on a strict diet, they get hungry, eat some chocolate for about a week, than are ready to start dieting again, to which they get hungry and eat some more. I think that if anyone wanting to loose some weight should start off this way. First, DON'T starve yourself.
