Ht. 160 cm, Start: 96 kg, Today: 104 kg (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 50 kg - i cant believe this!! i hate my strech marks and fat rolls im going to loose weight! this is going to be hard as most nights for dinner w have fast food. also i dont want to give up any food!  (Note: 160 cm, 104 kg is 5'3", 229 lb.)

Ht. 5'3", Start: 135 lb, Today: 138 lb (BMI %tile: 85), Goal: 110 lb - okay so i have been using this site since the end of august last year and i have been completely lazy and have not put in an effort to lose weight. i really disappointed myself. i really wanted to lose weight by this summer. i'm not happy by the way i look and i definitely want to change that, so i'm making it a major point to lose 28 pounds by my sophomore year in on september 9th. but even if i don't reach my goal, i definitely want to reach my goal weight by this christmas. so if anybody on here had successful weight loss stories, fill me in on how to get started and help me get closer to my dream body :)

Ht. 5'2", Start: 151 lb, Today: 147 lb (BMI %tile: 93), Goal: 125 lb - Hey, I'm new here. I've spent the last few days reading posts, and I felt that it would be good for me to post something. First of all, I think this site is really great, and it's really helpful. I've always been overweight, and I hate it, but eventually I thought that I should just accept it and I would not be able to change that. I have tried to lose weight before, over summer vacations, but it never worked, probably because I didn't even understand how to go about it. My weight has also contributed to my lack of self esteem and shyness in school, which has increased since entering high school this year. It also kind of saddens me that my mom is the same height as me, and about 20 pounds lighter. But about a month ago, I had a realization hit me hard about what I am doing to myself. Ht. 5'3", Start: 175 lb, Today: 168 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 140 lb - Hey guys. A) Another pound!!! It might be water weight, but, whatever, it's weight, right? I'm going swimming today...and I found a bathing suit that makes me look 20 POUNDS THINNER! Seriously, no joke. :-)
B) My mom says that since I've gotten a lot taller from when I started, I would be way too skinny at 130. I tried to say that I wouldn't because I started at 140 and wasn't skinny but then she brought up the height thing. Do you think she's right? I'm changing my goal weight to 140. I'll change it again if I don't look the way I would like.
P.S. My short-term goal (for now) is 15 pounds by June 24. I've lost 7 already!

Ht. 5'3.5", Start: 145 lb, Today: 145 lb (BMI %tile: 88), Goal: 130 lb - okay, so i'm not exactly "fat" just not really in shape right now i guess. i'm built not small, but not really big either. i look like 140 probably. for my 16th bday (may 4th) i'm joining anytime fitness ( you have to be 16 to get a key). i would like to be 130-ish around end of august, or sooner. i would just like to get in shape (family history of diabetes) more. how many times per week should i go to anytime fitness? or what would be ideal? and could i be 130-ish sooner then August? thanks :)

Ht. 5'5", Start: 193 lb, Today: 193 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 120 lb - ok so i have been overweight my whole life. but then 3 years ago i was 145 pounds and i got down to 128 and the was the lowest i have ever been and since then i have been trying to lose the weight andthen after a while i just gave up but i started again today. Me and my mom have always done it together but she lost all her weight and i dont know if i can do it. the hardest part about it all is everyone at school is so skinny except a few other girls but they aren't as big as i am. i feel like i dont have any support and i no my parents are but they have no idea what im going through. its hard to be a overweight kid and i always felt like i was the only one that was going through this.

I had a whole wheat bread for breakfast and a salad for lunch. Mmm...it was a yummy salad, too. lol. Well, I hope everyone is doing AWESOME! Ht. 5'8", Start: 234 lb, Today: 210 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 155 lb - Okay, I'm going to start again. Recently gained 7lbs...:\ BESIDES THE FACT, I'm going to start, officially. Not just watching what I eat, but exercise too. I'm going to bike afterschool. I mean, I have to do this. I feel so motivated right now. I get like this often, but it doesn't last...That's my problem. I'm going to try my hardest just to get up at 6am and -not- 7, going to actually pay attention tomorrow..Start taking that multivitamin, etc.etc. I just haveeee tooo. I'm just hoping that I do it... It's worse cuz i really don't have my parents to support me...I'm not going to tell them I'm trying to lose weight either..they are so ignorant. Anyways, seeya guys around. :\ Anyone else in my situation?

Ht. 5'6", Start: 190 lb, Today: 188 lb (BMI %tile: 97), Goal: 140 lb - Hi everyone, I'm new on here and I just started dieting, but does anyone know if this sounds ok what I've been doing. For breakfast I have cereal and milk. For lunch I have a light and fit yogurt which is 70 calories, an apple, and celery. For dinner I have what ever my parents are fixing which is normally chicken some kind of rice or pasta and a vegetable. I try to eat a lot of vegetables. Then every day I try to walk 2 miles and then I do 400 sit-ups all different kinds. I do...20 regular, 20 to the right, 20 to the left, 20 regular, 10 to the left, 10 to the right, 10 regular, 20 legs up, 20 legs up left, 20 legs up right, 20 legs up, 10 regular. and then i repeat it. Then I use 10 lb dumbells and do different kinds of arm strength training and then i strech. does this sound ok? and if anyone has any other ideas.

Ht. 5'5", Start: 190 lb, Today: 180 lb (BMI %tile: 96), Goal: 140 lb - I lost weight and gained it back. fml. i want to loose 10 pounds before June 15 that gives me about 9 weeks. I need to get off the computer and do something about it. I was going to start today, but boy was i stupid. I ate chips & dip, thats not gonna get me anywhere! Right now i'm deep conditioning my hair, and tomorrow i'm going to the mall. So before i leave i hope i cant at least get my hour walk in. I was thinking for my diet i could:
-Eat a whole grain cereal for breakfast.
-Alternate b/t Tuna, and Turkey for lunch.[since i bring my lunch to school]
-Tuna/Turkey/Lean Cuisine. something like that.
Nothing but skim milk and water for me. :D

Ht. 5'9", Start: 16 st 2, Today: 16 st 2 (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 10 st 0 - i need help, im Obese and No1 understands literally !.. i really don't no what to do anymoree, ive tried like every diet and the only one i found effective was weight watchers but that diet put me in the position where i ended up collapsing so i stopped. im in 6th form studying music & drama, i had done dance in my GCSE's and passed so i took it on in 6th form, but it got to the point where they were making me do ballet and telling me to wear a leotard and tights, i told them i wasn't comfortball and reminded them i wasn't a size 8 like the rest of them, but they said i had no choice if i wanted to stay on the course, this then lead to them putting me in that 'outfit' on stage in front on 300 people at a christmas concert, i done it at the time just because when im on stage im not the fat usless girl. But after the holidays i went back and dropped the course.
