Ht. 5'0", Start: 228 lb, Today: 213 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 170 lb - I'm doing good right now especially with the exercise me and one of my friends walked around forever yesterday and played football (catch) for at least an hr and a half. We were messing around at the park too.. so I did good with the exericse that day and I'm mostly doing a lot of walking latly but I need to kick it up a notch and lay off the junk.. Bring on the fruits & veggies. lol. How is everyone doing?

Ht. 5'8", Start: 225 lb, Today: 174 lb (BMI: 26), Goal: 145 lb - so i think i lost a pound of water weight so far. thank god lol. do any of you have problems with eating at night? im a huge night snacker. is it okay to snack late at night as long as its fruits and veggies?? i guess its better than chips and cookies right? no matter how much protein i eat with dinner, i always get hungry about 2-3 hours after and want to snack while i watch a movie or t.v. i've tried the gum chewing thing, but i end up eating like 6 pieces of sugar free gum lol the flavour doesn't last long enough. im so motivated right now, i spent like 2 hours online last night looking at before and after pictures, and on youtube as well. if these people can all do it, so can we. we're young this should be way easier than if we were 40 year old adults with kids to look after and full time jobs. anyways, good luck guys, we can do it!!

And In the thime i havent been posting, I am sad to report I have gained back the weight i lost last summer, 10 pounds... I am soooooooo Mad at myself. I just started eating like I used to, which is horrible, i really need to stop eating as much. If anyone has any advice, please share!!

Ht. 5'8", Start: 225 lb, Today: 175 lb (BMI: 27), Goal: 145 lb - Hey guys! i just wanted to share something with you pasta lovers. i know it sounds weird, but trust me you wont even be able to tell the difference. steam some broccoli, and pour some pasta sauce on it and top it off with parmesan cheese. its sooo good and so much better for you. and its really filling too! i had a huge bowl of it yesterday for supper, about 4 cups of broccoli, and a cup of marinera sauce and 2 tbsp of parm, and it was only 260 calories. try it! aside from that i havent seen any budge in my weight, even though ive been drinking a ton of water(not to mention running to the bathroom every 5 minutes). But i just got my time of the month today so within a few days i should lose the water. god i hope so. i refuse to believe that those 5 pounds i gained are all fat. anyways i hope everyones doing great! good luck

Ht. 5'6", Start: 198 lb, Today: 184 lb (BMI %tile: 94), Goal: 140 lb - i was down to 160lbs in june and then i went to university and gained about 25lbs. it sucks! so now i am seriously trying to lose weight again and i really hope i can do it again and keep it off. i dont want to be a yoyo dieter, bc it is really frustrating putting in all the effort to lose weight and then gaining it back again. wish me luck!

Ht. 5'5", Start: 190 lb, Today: 180 lb (BMI %tile: 96), Goal: 140 lb - I have been wanting to loose weight since i was 13. I feel like its cramping my teenage lifestyle. So, whenever i try to loose weight i just give up cuz i want instant results eventho i know it doesn't work that way. This summer i'm going to Camp Shane... One of my other friends went there over the summer and lost 25 pounds in 6 weeks. So i'm going to try to get off the easy 15 pounds before i leave in July. That way i really get my money's worth. Any Suggestions? How are yawl lives?

as u can see thats why i'm gaining and not losing.
i also stopped me exercise and idk what to do!!!
and school's almost over and i have to wear a tank top and theres this guy i really like. and yeah.... i can imagine how i would look if i was 120 and i can't wait. and i was naturally skinny. ughh please someone please help me with motivation, exercising tips, food cravings. ughh i just disgust myself

Ht. 5'8", Start: 225 lb, Today: 175 lb (BMI: 27), Goal: 145 lb - so, i know im 20 in the teens section but no offense, but the 18+ board sucks, no one ever posts. hope no one minds! (i'm really a 17 year old at heart lol) anyways, i used to weigh 170, but over the past 3 weeks or so ive packed on 5 pounds. im close to that time of the month though so i know some of it is water, but yesterday i did awesome and i plan to today as well. my plan is to eat only about 1000 calories for 3 days doing slimfast for breakfast and eating salads and soups the rest of the day, to kind of shock my body and then after the third day, ill start eating around 1300 again, and exercise. i dont want to exercise for the next 3 days because i dont want to pass out or anything, since im not eating much. so im taking it easy. i really hope this works. summer is just around the corner and id looooove to be in the 160's by then. wish me luck! also, what healthy meals do you guys eat for lunch/dinner? im running out of ideas, i usually just eat stir fry or soup. any ideas are welcomed lol thanks!

Thats why the first place I thought about when I found my miricle "lifestyle" was here. I've recently just got out of an ugly break up and then moved. I was feeling hidious although everyone around me tells me I'd be the next Miss.America if I just lost weight. How rude right? Lol I've been hearing that one all my life "if you only lost weight" Well for once it's finally starting to happen. I did alot of research and found out that walking helps you burn more fat than any other excerise(the less intense the work out the more fat you burn) So I started walking almost everyday with 1 day off for at least an hour(in oder for that fat burning to take affect you have to walk for at least 45min-1) I usually walk about 1h 15-20 min it easy fun and refreshing.
