For anyone seeking a really good book for emotional eating problems or just eating right and stopping dieting that is harmful(not saying all diets are just the dangerously low calorie ones, and eating habits that include binging, Jay Mcraw's book, The ultimate Weight loss Solution for teens: 7 keys to weightloss, is REALLY good. I fineshed it today, and i think its a must read even if u are on a different diet because u can apply the steps to any lifestyle for the better. Anywayz~~i'll get back to y'all later, best of luck~~CheLLie :)

Well.. I was a chubby 10-11 year old (around 4'10'' and 110 lbs) but I didn't know about this site then, or I would have come. =(
I came when I was 12... and I had lost most of the weight and was about normal. I then started helping others by telling them how I did it. =)

Ht. 5'8", Today: 147 lb (BMI %tile: 77) - Hey everyone! I was here around 2 years ago...(I think) and I am doing pretty good. I check BB occasionally, and now have decided to post. I'm around 5'8", and 146.5 pounds; somewhat happy.
Oh, and another really cool thing. On that new "Kids helping Kids" section... I have 6 of my previous posts in it. I looked through them all, and the whole section is really helpful. =)

When your young, your skin cells can retract so you wont have the extra skin...but it will be loose, so you do have to tighten it a bit. But when your older, or youve lost excess amounts of weight, thats when you have all the extra skin.

I guess it all started in 8th grade. That's when I started to have weight issues. I was sick of being called 'fat girl' and teased about being a tad overweight. So I decided to do something about it. I firstjust stopped eating meat and I lost 7 pounds in a month, but that wasn't enough for me. By then I was 5'3, 135, I started studying anorexia all over the internet. I felt like I had to limit my food intake. So I stopped eating anything fatty. I would only take in fresh fruits and cooked vegetables. I also started running so I could burn off all the calories that I would eat. I was then down to 126 pounds. I kept cutting my meals smaller and smaller and I would exercise like crazy. Running 6 miles a day and then coming home and doing 400 situps. It still wasn't enough. I refused to eat more than 150 calories a day. I was obsessed. I was 111 by then but everyone was giving me compliments... (view more)

Today: 225 lb, Goal: 150 lb - hello everyone, I am new to this whole blubberbusters thing. I think it's cool that I've finally found a place where I can talk to other overweight teens and find out information! I weigh 225lbs, and hope to get down to atleast 150, but I'll work at it. I was just in near death car accident, and realized that I need to change my life. How ever, I have been depressed, because my car was my life so I've been eating so much lately and not doign a thing to lose any of the weight. In the past week I gained 8 lbs! I would love to talk to all of you to get much needed motivation. If anyone has any deit or exercise tips lemme know! I hope to talk to you all very soon, thanks 3 Erin
