try and cut out all unnecessary bread foods. and also there is sugar free candy out there, which you could try. Also ask your family to get rid of the candy to help you out, they will understand

I'm not really that overweight, but I don't think I'd like it very much if my parents sent me there, but if I was obese, I don't think I'd be upset if they asked me if I'd like to go. You should ask your daughter if she would want to go, explain why you want her to go and that it would be good for her health, and then see if she is willing to go.

John,
My dad is very concerned and has been about my weight for as long as i can remember. I struggle everyday with terrible awful thoughts about how terribly fat i am. I've even turned to bulimia, and laxatives at one point. He used to sit me down with my mom and turn me into a big crying fest. he would tell me that he was telling me to lose weight because he loved me, but all i heard was "you're fat and i won't love you if you are" My suggestion? don't send her away! that's the last thing she needs. What she needs is for you to just love on her. make sure you never go a day without hugging her. If you really are concerned about her weight. Ask her what she think about it (in a tactful way of course) Ask her how others treat her because of it. if you want to have contrl over what she eats. don't buy any junkfood. make sure your house is junkfood free. Go on walks with... (view more)

Hiyas.
Its nice to see you are concerned about your daughter, but I dont think sending her away to school is the answer. You have to see the reasons for why she is over eating. Find out if she is unhappy about something and more than anything ill guess that she needs your support. I wouldnt want my parents to send me away. You could ask her how she would feel about it. But taking her away from her family and friends might not be the answer. Just see a family doctor who might reccomend a dietrition and then just help her by stocking healthy foods in your house. All go on a diet maybe? If you only provide healthy foods she will eat those foods. And also maybe walk with her to start some gentle excersises.

I think you need to talk to your mom. If she does'nt want to help then talk to someone you can trust. Being overweitght is a hugh prob. but we here all have the same prob. And stop saying your ugly. We all are beautiful in the inside.

What kinds of foods do you tend to eat reguarly?Does your family eat out a lot? Talk to your parents about your weight.Explain to them how unhappy you are and then figure out a diet plan that's right for YOU.Not everyone can lose weight by going on atkins or weight watchers.E-mail me to chat:sweet_stephanie_13@hotmail.com

Hey! What you can do is tell your mom, dad, or gardian to buy healthy foods such as fruits and vegetables instead of those junky foods. Also try to do healthy things like ride a bike every day, do sports, dance, or jog outside. Try to eat half of what u usually eat every day and save it for later. Let me know how everything turns out

I am the same exact way! I'll be thinking positive about eating healthy and then after a few days, I'll put all of that down the drain. Your best bet is to talk to your parents about the food they buy for the family. I talked to my mom about it and now she rarely buys junk food, except on special occasions. Keep saying to yourself in your mind when you're looking for something to eat; do I want to fit into those or not? It might help. Good luck!
