Actually, it isn't impossible to lose 30lbs in about 3 months. You just have to eat healthy, about 1500 calories a day. It really isn't that hard to stop eating junkfood. It's a good idea to lower your intake of junkfood slowly, you'll hardly notice the difference. Pick one day when you can eat something you like, for example ice cream, but don't eat too much of it. And you have to exercise, atleast 30 minutes a day, the best would be about an hour a day. You should do the exercises that you like, like riding your bike, take a walk or maybe swimming.
Don't weight yourself everyday, since your weight changes from day to day, about once a week is enough.
If you just exercise and eat healthy you're gonna reach your goals.

to lose that much weight in 5 days is unhealthy and you will gain it back before you know it so take it slow, losing 2 lbs a week is the safest way to go

It depends on your height, if u are 10 and weight 127 and were like 4'10, you would be considered over weight for your height!
i am 125 ( at risk of becoming overweight) and i come her so that i can lose like 10 lbs, so i wont become overweight, i am only 12 and weight that much, so u shouldn't be worried why other people come here, be worrried for u!

i think you should think small....think of only about 10 pounds at a time and not the whole thing....i hear it works better......it will be easier to accomplish and it'll seem easier.....

If you want to lose weight you need to take your time. You are not going to lose weight instantly. Make small changes to the foods you eat as you go. Cut out fatty foods, sweats and foods like that first. Eating whole wheat bread it much better for you. Good luck!!

Right. You are 11. My advise is that you forget about school starting next month. If you start, from today, to exercise (go to dancing classes, swimming, netball, football, jog, cycle, what ever you enjoy)and you keep sweets and chocolate and crisps to weekend treats, cut out fizzy drinks and have your normal meals with your family (no going back to the pot for seconds) you will loose the weight that you want to. Not by school starting but you will have lost a little bit by then. If you do it like that, keep doing it like that through this school year you can stop worrying about your weight and your appearance now.
I have been slightly overweight since I was your age. I have been miserable about it for 10 years!!!! Silly diets that don't work..... If I had done what I have just suggested to you by the time I was 12 I would have been able to forget about my weight altogether. That... (view more)

you have to lose fat/weight overall, you can't target a specific area for losing fat- only building muscle,

In order to lose a double chin you have to lose weight over all, there is no way to just lose a double chin but once you lose weight overall the double chin will natuarlly decrease into a single chin.

Yes this is possible because more than likely you weighed yourself before the things you ate or drank were fully digested and disposed of. Make sense? Liquids can make your weight change the easiest.
