I AM SO PROUD OF MYSELF!!! this morning my parents and i went out to breakfast and i didnt eat all my food... i olny ate half of it! I asked for a box in the begining to put 1/2 my food in and it worked plus i full after only 1/2! YAY!!!

i know what you mean not many boys talk to me either they call me Mrs.Fat and Fatso what i do that seems to be working because i lost ten pounds is i drink water every time i eat and i take water to bed i take a smaller portion of food and i make my self think im full if i take a big portion of food i tried a lot of other things that did not work that might work on you so try this and see what happens then email me with some results

OMG YALL IM SOOO EXCITED! I KNOW ITS NOT A BIG DEAL OR ANYTHING BUT I JUST LOST MY FIRST POUND! one of my friends recomended this site (just online not in person)when I began talking to her about obesity. And I've been seriously cutting down on the amount of food I consume each day, It has really helped! anyone have any tips on how to loose more and keep what I lost off?!

I don't think that you ate too much. The donught is ok if you only have one once in a while. Keep in mind, it's ok to have a brownie, just don't eat the entire pan!!! The same goes for dougnuts. Don't eat more that the one and you will be ok. Other than that, you did great!!!

2.Try the blindfold technique and eat a meal blindfolded. you'll find you eat less.

Try to cut everything you eat in half. Eeat slowly through meals and if that doesnt work, try the blindfold technique. Blindfold yourself while you eat. You'll find that you eat less because you dont see the food. Stick to low-fat recipes and foods. Veggies are really good and so is fruit. Try not to eat more than 6 oz of meat a day and eat whole wheats instead of white bread. If you dont already, use only skim milk. You can start by edging down from whole to 2% to 1% to skim. Drink alot of water but dont force it in you, you dont want to get sick. And if you can, try doing tae-bo. I just started it a couple of days ago and i already feel the work in me and i cant wait to do it everyday. Good Luck and keep us posted on how youre doing!!

Okay it sounds like you are doing good on the exercise thing because you joined a swim team but you need to change you eating habits. It is all about self-control only have 1 cookie. Just eat what you want just have smaller portions.And limit yourself on the sugar! If you say I can't do it then to bad because you can! And drink 5 cups or more water a day. I hope this helps and I know this will help you swim faster too.

The main thing I could say is to eat in portions! That really worked for me. And I'd make little changes in my diet like instead of having a whole bagel I'll just have half or an english muffin which has less calories. Good luck!

Ht. 5'2", Start: 135 lb, Today: 107 lb (BMI %tile: 57), Goal: 100 lb - hi, im 13 yrs old soon 2 be 14 and 5"2. i started losin weight since mid august i was 135 pounds and now 107 pounds. i want 2 lose another 7. guess wat i hardly have a stomach! if i can do it (cauz i LOVED eatin) so can u, now eatin is somethin i have 2 do to live. this is wat i did.....example= cutin down food. instead of havin 2 big plates of pasta and 5 meatballs. im havin half a plate of pasta and only 1 meatball.

I would either throw it all out or only throw some out and keep a little of it by making a pile nad picking out 15 of your favorite pieces and putting them in a candy jar or box and only have one piece a day.

hey hun, first of all who cares what others think. If you really wanna lose weight then it has to be up to you and you are the one who wants to do it, you do it for yourself no one else. After you knwo your doing it for you try being more active, and you can still eat all the foods you like but just have smaller portions of what you eat like cuz everythign u eat in half, and try not to eat to late at night because whenyou eat late at night you dont have time to burn off most of what you ate off. you don't have to cut foods out of your diet, just eat less. For example, instead of a whole bar of chocolate, eat half, or if you love milkshakes order a small one. It's the amount of calories you eat that count, not what foods you eat, although healthier foods make you feel fuller, longer, and usually have less calories.
