BULLETIN BOARD

~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

Ht. 5'8", Start: 225 lb, Today: 165 lb, Goal: 150 lb - so today i started the GI diet (for those of you who haven't heard of it, it's a diet where you eat foods with a low glycemic index rating, so foods that don't spike insulin levels. examples would be egg whites lettuce chicken veggie burgers, steak, fruit, etc) and so far so good. i wasn't hungry between breakfast and lunch which is a first for me. i guess its true the more sugars and carbs in the food the hungrier youll be shortly after. apparenty you can eat as much of the "green light" foods as you like, but id still rather count my calories as well in case i go overboard. i'll let you guys know of any weight changes in a week or two to see if this works as well as i've been told it does. good luck everyone!
