BULLETIN BOARD

~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

Ht. 5'1", Start: 204 lb, Today: 125.6 lb, Goal: 115 lb - 2 lbs. down from my previous weight, thank goodness! I swear, I feel the difference in gaining and losing a couple of pounds now. My mom always tells me that the key to successful weight-loss/maintaining is to not let it get out of hand, specifically: "you gain 5 pounds and you get it right back off". It's a good standard because it's kind of like, don't let yourself get so far out of your healthy lifestyle that you just allow the pounds to slowly start creeping back on indefinitely. There's another 5k coming up in mid-April that I'd really like to train for. Unfortunately, as much as I loved running while I was doing it, I don't have the motivation to get out in the morning cold to start back up =(. Ahh well, I'm going to have to push past that uncomfortableness and just do it. Hope all's well with everyone!
