~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

Ht. 5'4", Start: 248.5 lb, Today: 238.5 lb, Goal: 170 lb - Class starts tomorrow and I am uber excited. I am attending the culinary program at my local community college and my first thought was well how the heck are you going to be able to control yourself around all that food. But then I realized taking these classes will give me a greater appreciation for food and they will give me the skills to create healthy, delicious, homemade foods. On another note, today was my official weight in day and I am down 10 pounds! I could not be happier, but I really need to stop the horrible habit of weighing myself every morning. Like I did before I am going to get all caught up in numbers and not appreciate how my body feels. I don't feel my clothes getting looser but I am a bowler and I have noticed my fingers won't stay in the ball. I guess I am just losing the weight in my fingers first which is fine. So a question to everyone, and if it applies to you please respond because I am really struggling on this one. Let me give you a little back story first. I have a boyfriend I have been with for over 2 years and we are in love and all that good stuff. His parents just recently renewed their vows after 26 years and I helped to put together favors and greeted people and all that fun stuff. So she gave me a little thank you gift in 3 boxes of GOOBERS(chocolate covered peanuts!) and they are my favorite candy. At first I was like OH NO!!! I can not have those!!! Then I thought ok I will give away 2 boxes and keep one to treat myself once in a while. I gave one to my sister, then I told my boyfriend to take one. He decided to just take both boxes and be like no you can't have these. I feel as if he is parenting me and controlling my food. I understand he is just wanting to help but the way he is doing it is VERY VERY VERY irritating. So, finally the question, do you have someone like this in your life? If so how to do handle it?
