Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

Ht. 5'5", Start: 170 lb, Today: 170 lb, Goal: 130 lb - Hi, so I'm wondering if y'all can give me some tips for not getting discouraged about losing weight. I lost about 5 or 10 pounds last school year because I walked to school every day and I just didn't eat as much, but since I've been home this summer I've just been really discouraged and depressed. I try to go to the gym 3 or 4 times a week, but lately I just can't motivate myself. I try not to eat a lot, but I feel like I'm failing at that so often. My family is going through a rough time right now and I feel like they're just too stressed with other things to be supportive right now. So, I'm just looking for insight and encouragement. Thank you.
