BULLETIN BOARD

~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

From Amanda, Age 20

Ht. 5'8", Start: 225 lb, Today: 169 lb, Goal: 155 lb - so i was doing extremely well, then got a terrible cold and was basically confined to my couch for 2 days straight. as a result,i lost track and ate a little more than usual. however, i got on the scale tonight fully clothed in jeans and it said i weighed 169. woohoo! tomorrow morning is my weigh-in so i plan to check to make sure, maybe ill be a lil lighter because ill be in lighter clothes and on a completely empty stomach. who knows. either way, i'm feeling a bit better so i'm going to start working out again. i also found another incentive to lose this darn weight once and for all. i finally finally finally picked a course i want to take in college, so i'll be going to school in the fall of 2010, and i'd like to look and feel my best to avoid any insecurities on the first day of starting a new school. i've got 10 months to lose 19 pounds (i'd like to start school at my goal of 150) so basically, all i'd have to lose is about 1.9 pounds per month to do so. sounds pretty darn reasonable doesn't it?? i can totally do this. anyways, I hope you are all doing amazing, keep your eyes on the prize. you can do it! good luck :)
