~REPLY WRITING AREA~

Before you post a reply saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight, please first check our Weight Calculator . If the calculator says that you are healthy weight, please do not post a message saying that you are overweight or that you want to lose weight.  This offends the kids who really are overweight.  Thanks a lot.

From Ally, Age 21

Ht. 5'1", Start: 196 lb, Today: 196 lb, Goal: 135 lb - Hi. I'm Ally and I used this site a few years back (wish I would've stayed - it helped to see everyone's positive weight loss posts, etc. lol). I am engaged to be married December 5, 2009, and I really need to lose weight before then. To be clear, I understand it's going to take a lot of hard work and healthy eating to accomplish my goal, but I'm determined not to look back on my wedding photos with regret that I didn't do something about my weight when I could. Here's what I'm ultimately on this site for: to get encouragement from others who have been successful in their weight loss process, to obtain tips about the best exercises, health foods, etc. and to provide others in turn with ideas/tips/encouragement with my future weight loss. I don't have a clear-cut plan on how exactly I plan to lose this excess weight, so if anyone has any tips, etc. for me to help me get started, I would very much appreciate it =D.
