Also, weightlifting increases your metabolism for a while when you lift the weights, as does aerobics and such, but it also keeps it higher for longer than aerobics. But you should do both weightlifting and aerobics to get the full benefit. Because if you don't lose the layer of fat that's on top of your muscles, then you won't see your muscles very well.
