The key to losing weight is WATER. I know it sounds silly. I am losing 3 pounds a week. I am drinking 8+ cups of water. When you arent drinking enough water, your body thinks that it is running out and needs to start saving. So you (like a camel) could have 10 pounds of water weight. Drink water like crazy whithin the next 9 days and you will see what i mean.
