no, that means that your doing them wrong. what your doing is probably using your shoulders and neck to push yourself up. what you want to do is relax your neck and shoulders and use your stomach muscles as much as possible to raise yourself up. You dont want to go all the way up, just so that your shoulder blades are off the ground. Have fun!! ;-)
