That's some great info you have emmy. I also have tried the "break-into-little-pieces" thing once and it does help alot. Another reason for this may be because it allows you to eat slower. If you take your time to eat food than eating really fast you won't be as hungry. When food (after about 13 min. after eaten) reaches the beginning of your intestines, called the duodenum, it sends hormones to you to make you feel full. A bit of science there.
