There are some people giving good advice, and others who benefit from it, but some of the "miracle diets" discussed on the board aren't healthy. 3 day diets, soup diets, etc... things that sound too good to be true usually aren't very healthy, plus you mostly lose water weight. I go by a weight watcher calculator that tells me how many "points" each food item is, which helps me not to over eat. I recommend a program like that which has a healthy setting. Too good to be true diets usually are too good to be true. However there are a lot of good advice here, we just need to be able to recognize the good from the bad. I don't think you guys should gang up on James! :-( But I suppose it's okay for ya'll to uhm, like this board a lot. ;-) |
