I know this because I am great friends with my Biology teacher and not only did I ask her but I did an entire report about water and its links to weight loss! First of all you have to have water to lose weight - that is a FACT! Although some may say you need only 8 glasses a day that is usually wrong. The only people who can get by with drinking only 8 glasses a day or people who weigh 128 pounds or less! This is how you determine the CORRECT amount of glasses you should drink a day ... take your body weight in pounds and divide it in half, the number you get is the number of ounces you should drink. For example...if you weigh 200 pounds you should drink 100 ounces of water a day because 200/2 is 100. It is almost impossible to die from drinking too much water. In order to die you would have to drink atleast your body weight in ounces which you would have to force your body to do that (and you will most likely throw it up before you can finish) - who would do that? I hope I have been useful. I want you to know that I did research on this and that I am 100% certain that I am right. |
