okay heres the thing. you can do 1000 situps everyday and it wouldnt make a difference because while your doing all of those excersices, your building up muscle but you cant see it because its coverered by fat. so if you want a slimmer stomach then you have to work your entire body. ex: running, swimming.... just work out your entire body and your waist size will go down. dont expect changes very soon.
