i've been on a 1000 calorie diet for the past 2 months and i've lost 30 lbs, what your experiencing is a plateau, and the only way to ge tover those is by changing something in your weight loss program..switch off sandwiches to another deal or try a different excercise routine, i have to do it every couple of weeks because your body gets used to it and stops feeling the need to burn fat. you can still eat alot on a 1000 calorie plan..you just eat healthier, salad without a lot of dressing is good, boiled eggs..oatmeal, raisin bran is excellent for breakfast because it gets your metabolism started. im also a vegetarian though so i dont know what meat does. hope i helped!
