Your body can only metabolise (burn) fat at a rate of 2-3 pounds per week. Any more weight that comes off will be muscle and fluids. You do not want to lose muscle - it burns more energy than fat. In order to lose 2-3 pounds in one week you basically need to starve yourself and only eat lean meats, fruits, vegetables etc. Plus, if you do lose say 6 pounds in 2 weeks, i can guarantee youll put it straight back on once you start eating normally again.
