All the crunches in the world won't help. You need to do cardio (walking, jogging) everyday. Try to work up to 45 minutes. It will take months for you to see any results. Check your food intake. Make sure that you are getting enough fruits and vegetables. You have to eat so your body will let go of the fat and stop holding onto it thinking you might starve yourself. Good luck.
