I am always hungry as well and have the same problem with resisting what is put in front of me. First, I don't know what your relationship is with your mom, but have you tried talking with her about your wishes for help? If that is not possible, how about this. Dieting is not easy, what if at first, you cut back some. Try eating the meal that mom gave you....skipping anything else and taking a short walk in the school. Do this at first until you get used to it. After school, try taking a walk just around the block. Gradually increase your walk times...this is excercising and it will help your body to use up some of the calories that you take in when you eat. Once you are more comfortable with just this little step, try cutting down on eating your mom's packed for lunch. Toss a sandwich or leave it at home. Switch from the pepsi to water. It will not be easy, but every little success you have...no matter how small, will make you feel better about yourself. It will also make you feel like you can get there. It will take time...so don't expect results overnight. To do this right, you may want to get your mom to take you to a doctor. Talking with one can put you and your mom on the right track for obtaining your goals. Take care and hang in there. |
