Chris, Shelly is right you can not lose 5lbs in day, your body does not work like that. If you want good fast resaults here is a good start for you. Eat foods high in protein and low in carbs.Carbs can turn into fat if you don't use them and protien burns off the carbs.You also have to cut out on your saturated fat intake. You should be eating 5 SMALL meals a day, your body can burn off fat quicker with less food and more servings. Chicken breast (boneless and skinless, not fried!), boiled eggs with no yoke,fat free yogart, 1 cup Weaties with 1/2 cup fat free milk,1/2 grapefruit, 2pieces turkey bacon and red meats these are just a few of the good foods for you. Stay away from pasta's, soda, candy, and any other sweets. exercise is very important. You need to have a vasular exercise every day, whether it be quick walking, jogging, roller blading,or riding a bike. Your heart rate needs to be excelorated for NO less than 30 min to burn off fat. Crunches work if you do them right. For lower abs:sit in a chair and lift your legs up to your chest. Do this in 3 sets of 15 every day. For upper abs do regular sit ups: 3 sets of 15 every day. If you can not do 15 in each set then start with 10 and work your way up. You will not be able to see the muscle tone untill you loss the fat around the muscle. Remember to have the body you want takes alot of dicipline and hard work. If you stick to this you should see resaults in 1 month.Don't weigh yourself get a tape measure and measure your waist and thighs.
