Ashley's right, don't listen to j Lynn, you'll only end up hurting yourself in the long run. NOBODY should eat less than 1200 calories a day unless you are sick and we all know that when you are sick you don't have an appitite, so it's ok. A normal teen eats anywhere between 2000-2600calories a day. To lose a pound a week you can do a number of things. But the main think is, you have to cut back on calories that turn to fat. The easiest way to do that is by eating about 1700 calories a day and getting at least a half an hour of exercise, or a least do an exercise that will burn 200 calories a day. Please be kind to your body, you have to live with it for a lifetime.
