Hey, i know how you feel, I am always comparing myself to other people and it really hurts my self confidence, last year on my school trip eveyone had those skimpy strink bikinis that i am afraid to wear in public. However i have realized that wishing that i looked good enough to wear one doesn't change anything. It only makes it worse. If you start exersizing (i would start with a light jog or speed walk every afternoon, something thats carteovascular)and eating healthier, you can make goals for yourself and work on only making comparions of your own self improvements.
