...So for instance say you eat a large bowl of cereal everyday, try taking a smaller bowl and eat that, if you are still hungry add a fruit. Or if you normally eat a sandwich for lunch, try eating half, and having the other half later for when you get hungry as a snack. Dinner, we shouldnt be eating frozen stuff and instant meals, or protein bars, we should be eating a well balanced dinner. Like say you are a meat eater, you can have meal loaf, porkchops, anything just cut down the size of it, especially the plate, take a smaller plate and fill it, and dont get seconds, and if you talk during the meal and eat slower you will get full faster. We can still have desert, like ice cream, just one scoop. Or when you have cake just eat a sliver. Food takes so much better when you eat only a little bit of it. Because if we could eat a lot of something, then it would be mindless eating and we might be thinking what else can i eat, and not enjoying the cake. This is something you want to do life long. It is healthy, you will lose weight if you just think of food as fuel. I mean think about it, if you eat more than you burn during the day, then you will gain weight. Drink water all day, it is good for you for a million reasons. I mean like 90% of our body should be water. And with your meat, have a vegetable and some fruit. 2 Rules about starches, never eat two together, so if you want a potatoe skip the bread, if you want corn skip the potatoe. The secret key to life is BALANCE, not just eating right, but your overall well being, how you live your life, how you are physically, I mean a person who can be happy with themselves is always good. So treat your body with care, feed it good things, you dont want to fill your body with crap that it doesnt like. If I eat too much junkfood in a day, my body will tell me the next, I will wake up feeling grogy and have a headache, I am not old enough to drink, but to me it is like a hangover from junkfood. I have decided that I want to treat my body well. It may sound funny, but it is true. I hope people have benefited from this!!! Remember it is good to be nice to everyone, but you must take care of yourself as you are #1!!
