thats true, but i sent a letter to the guy i liked(who was a friend at the time) and it turned out he liked me too and he asked me out and we went out for about 3-4 months, then broke up(looooong story!!)and became really close, better friends, and now we r going out again! so i say go for it, BUT only if you know it wont ruin ur friendship!
