I'd do stretches, too. Lifting weights is a GREAT way to lose weight. Your upper body and lower body workouts should switch every day. Ex: Monday-upper body, Tuesday-lower body, Wednesday-upper body, etc. Your muscles need time to heal in-between workouts. You should do the stretches every day. You should also do something else every day, like riding your bike, roller blading, walking, etc. I think that mini-meals work the best, instead of 3 meals a day. I read somewhere that it takes about the size of two fists to fill a girl up, if her stomach isn't stretched. (That's at every meal.) Like I said before, lifting weights is a REALLY good way to lose weight because 1 pound of muscle burns about 50 calories a day, resting, and 1 pound of fat burns about 2 calories per day, resting. That's a big difference! If you want more advice, e-mail me at:thelittlekittymermaid3@yahoo.com. Good luck!!! |
