Liking yourself is a very slow process, and I dont think anyone ever completely finishes it. You have to focus on what is good about you. So you are overweight. That is a fraction of who you are. I dont think that you have to like yourself when you start to lose weight, but I think it is an excellent part of the process. Once you start to follow a healthy diet and work out, you will start to have more pride in yourself. Not because you look better, but because YOU have the strength to over come something that thousands of adults dont. You are actually changing something about yourself that you arent happy with.
