First of all, it'd be helpful if you had a good relationship with your parents. Tell them how much you love them, and that you're worried about their weight. Find facts about being overweight and what it can do to your body if you don't do something about it that might surprise them. Tell them you'll support them in making an effort to lose some weight. Offer to take walks with them every day. If you can, cook supper for them and show them what a healthy meal looks like. Get them involved in some other exercise besides walking, like lifting weights. Just remember to be very supportive of them. One tip is to drink a lot of water. It fills you up, so you're not hungry anymore. My mom and I take walks together, and it feels so good when your pants begin to get loose, because you know you're on your way to a healthier life. My mom and I also have this little rule: we eat a candy bar every Saturday, and that's it. If after all this your parents still don't want to even try, there's still prayer. I'll be praying for you and your parents. :) God Bless!!!
