If you try to lose 2 to 5 lbs a week, when you get to where you want to weigh, it will stay off. I need to lose 150 lbs and I know exactly how you feel. And it's so hard because I just want to sit and play my Playstation. But my mom helped me get into the habit of eating right (we steam or BBQ almost everything). I have gotten used to never eating anything that is fried and I love Burger King frnech fries. But the biggest and the HARDEST was getting my butt up and moving. Walk around the block, scooter, dance, play with my dogs, anything you want. After a while, you just get used to NOT sitting so much and like I've been telling others, I drink TONS of ice water and chew sugarless gum. It makes my mind think its eating until the urge to eat goes away. My mom also told me to remember "I control my body... it does NOT control me" I remember that and everytime my hand (out of habit) reaches for a piece of candy or something I know I shouldn't be eating. It's not going to be easy and don't ever think that it will. But you want to lose weight or you would have never pulled up this web site. So hang in there dude, YOU CAN DO IT!!! |
