Andrew~I think that trying to lose 70lbs in three months would be VERY UNHEALTHY, if not impossible. Everyone wants to see results quickly, for whatever they set out to do, but losing weight is one of those things were quick results are not the best results. The best goal to have for losing weight to is to lose only about a half of a pound (1/2) to 2 pounds per week (for 70lbs that would take about 35 weeks, or 8 1/2 months). I know that sounds like a crazy, long amount of time but that is the most healthy way to lose weight. If you lose weight too quickly your body will lose important nutriants that it needs, also the rate at which your body uses engery will slow because it will think that you are straving and will slow down to save engery--this will cause you to lose weight even more slowly. Also, if you lose weight faster than that (because more likely than not you'll be on some sort of 'fad' diet or you'll flat out be starving yourself) you'll be more likely to regain the weight as soon as you reach the weight you want to be because you'll go back to eating like you did before you starved yourself. The best way is to eat more healthy and smaller portions, but most importantly to continue to eat and not to starve yourself. The best of luck to you. Missy.
