I'm not fat but I have a lot of "problem spots" too...mostly my belly and thighs. My brother tells me to set realistic goals using a 3:2:1 ratio, not just say, "I'm going to exercise hard every day!" because you will only end up frustrating yourself. The ratio is this: Do something moderate, like walking for 20 minutes 3 days a week, do crunches 2 days a week (not too many, but maybe 2 sets of 15), and then go for a bike ride or whatever one day a week. This should be fairly easy and isn't too hard on your body if you're not used to a lot of exercise. P.S. I know it's hard, but I also look for personality traits in a guy, not necessarily looks. I have a crush on someone definately overweight, but I don't care because he's hot, funny, and a fantastic singer. Be nice to yourself!!
